About me

I’m Siddhartha. I moved back to Almora, my hometown, around the time of COVID. It’s where I grew up, and where climbing, writing, and images have slowly become ways of paying attention.

What began as curiosity, wandering into crags without maps or markers, turned into a practice of listening. To rock, weather, fatigue, fear, and the quiet moments in between.

Climbing keeps me grounded. It reduces things to movement, breath, and choice. Writing is where I sit with what those experiences leave behind. Photography is how I hold onto stillness, light on stone, human traces in wide landscapes.

I’m interested in simplicity, slowness, and work that feels honest to where I am, both physically and inwardly.
