When the Body Weakens

I’ve noticed this about myself: whenever my body picks up even a mild ailment, let’s just say a cold or a fever, I find myself naturally inclined toward God and prayer. In those moments, I speak to myself more than I usually do. It’s as if illness quiets the noise of the world, and in that silence, the inner dialogue with the divine begins.

The same force that drives youth forward can also turn against it. What matters is not losing the fire, but learning how to hold it.
